A Photo Story- Franklin, TN

Hello lovely people! How are ya? So, I recently curated a portfolio. I set out to document storefront doors of small towns in Tennessee and below is the first of three works. I started by documenting Franklin, a historic and quaint town less than an hour from Nashville. It is filled with small boutiques and gourmet restaurants. There is a certain atmosphere to everything in Franklin. While nearly every business is upscale or gourmet, they are almost entirely casual. It is one of my favorite places to go when I want some amazing food and a homey atmosphere. (Franklin is also home to many music stars so if you’re lucky you might just run into someone!)

If you ever find yourself wandering down Franklin’s cobblestone streets, definitely swing by Merridee’s Breadbasket Bakery and Restaurant. This is one of my favorite places to grab a cup of coffee and maybe a pastry and just sit. I had my first coffee date with a sweet friend here when I moved to Tennessee too so it holds a special place in my heart.

Now, if you’re looking for a store instead of food, Philanthropy Fashion is by far my favorite. This boutique is filled with beautiful clothes, jewelry, and more. They pledge to donate at least 10% of sales to charitable causes too which I LOVE. Great fashion and a great purpose!
