A Photo Story- Columbia, TN

Good evening lovely people! Welcome to part two of the three-part series I’m uploading! These images collectively make up a portfolio that document small town storefront doors in Tennessee. I love shooting architectural photography and portraiture of buildings. This project developed out of the vein and I just happened to focus on the town squares of cities in my area. The last post documented Franklin, TN and this week it’s the wonderful Columbia! These two towns are rather different. Columbia is less polished than Franklin and more on the up-and-coming side. There’s an interesting contrast between the old and new. Unlike Franklin, there is a beautiful town hall in the center of the square as well.

If you choose to visit, definitely stop in at Puckett’s Grocery! It isn’t a grocery store really but a restaurant. They are a local chain (there’s actually one in Franklin too) and a Middle Tennessee must! It has a distinctly southern feel, great food, and music on Friday and Saturday nights.
