Merry Christmas folks! Just 1 more day and then it’s prezi time! I love Christmas morning so much. I love the excitement and the rush to the tree. I love watching people open gifts and I love receiving things from my loved ones. Spending time in my PJs with all of my people is so sweet.
As I enjoy this season, I want to encourage you to do the same. Cherish each moment with your family members. Choose peace over conflict every time. When you put a group of diverse people in a room together some form of disagreement is going to happen. Choose forgiveness and love first. Hug your family a little bit tighter. Rock those footy pajamas all day long. Scratch that complicated dinner and play a board game instead.
In short, I hope you enjoy time off with your loved ones and eat lots and lots of sweets. I hope you laugh more and stress less. And I hope you remember to praise Jesus who came to Earth to bring peace and cover our sins. What an incredible thing, that the sovereign God of the universe chose to leave perfection for us. Who sacrificed and suffered so that we wouldn’t. Who loves us unconditionally and continuously forgives our sins. What a wonderful reason to celebrate.
